Will playing football replace volunteer hours on University of California admission?

With football practice every day after school, i havent found any time to start volunteering. i know volunteer hours are important for a University of California application, but would an extracurricular sport that takes up almost all your spare time be a worthy trade off? (in the eyes of the admission people)

Their options are different too, as I understand it, as some have european style options trading. I would think after hours would be different too…perhaps requiring an extra premium for that trading.

Can anyone explain why there seems to always be a consistent pattern of accelerated selling during the last hour of the day? Today for instance it fluctuated some and then seemed to stabilize, and then suddenly dropped in the last hour. There have been several big drops like this constantly over the past few months that don’t happen until the trade day almost closes. Why?

I’m just curious about this. Is there trading that goes on (in each specific country) constantly and if there is, is it on some sort of contingent or conditional basis? thanks for more info.

During that time from 11am-2pm volume pretty much seems to dry up. Perhaps it’s better to just take a lunch yourself?

Hey guys, I bought my Gears of War 2 at Wal Mart and they had given me two codes for both the Hammerburst and the 48 hours. I’m willing to trade my hammerburst and 48 hour codes for a Golden Lancer code.

Should I trade on a platform that allows me to trade Yahoo 24 hours a day?
I was told that I could trade on E Trade, using foreign exchanges, paying the trade charge plus the premium to the dollar to make a trade. Not a bad deal considering I could have saved 8% had I traded before market!

I have a few questions, for one the stock market closes while I’m still at work so it would be near impossible for me to trade. Lets say yahoo closes at 13.09 (the market closes at 2 my time) I come home at 4 and want to sell it. How long does it take the order to process? Do I get the money immediately or do I have to wait until the beginning of the next day? Also can you give me some background information of extended hours trading. Thanks.

After placing a stock trade online during non-business hours, does the sale/purchase finalize automatically?

Lets say I placed an order online (E*Trade, Ameritrade, Fidelity, etc.) to buy some shares on a weekend after setting limit/stop price for it. Does the website, brokers behind it, or the system in general finalize the purchase right away for me when the market reopens especially at no more than my tolerated price? Or would I have to manually finalize it myself after assumingly receiving price alerts at open? I’m very new to the stock trading game and just signed up through Scottrade.
